CNN Special Investigations Unit report that Tyrone Benton a leak in the BP-Blowout Preventer reported two weeks before the explosion. Benton is a former worker on the platform who survived the deadly explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico. His task was to assist with remote-controlled vehicles in the measurement of mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU). He said that the blowout preventer was leaking and BP and Transocean noted in an e-mail to his superiors have sent to bothCompanies.
