Soprano Elisabeth Rethberg (1894-1976) / Air de Lia / L'enfant prodigue (Debussy) / Recorded: in the late 1930s - early 1940s) - The German soprano Elisabeth Rethberg (September 22, 1894 - June 6, 1976) was an opera singer of international repute active from the time of World War II until the early 1940s. Some welcomed it as the greatest soprano of her time. The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is a fifth generation, can perform single-seat, single-engine, stealth-capable military strike fighter, a multi-purpose aircraft, close air support, tactical bombing, and air defense missions.The F-35 has three different models, one is the conventional takeoff and landing variant, the second short takeoff and vertical landing variant and the third is a carrier-based variant. The F-35 is descended from the X-35, the product of the Joint Strike Fighter(JSF) program. Its development is funded primarily by the United States, the United Kingdom and other partner governments additional funding.It is designed and built by an aerospace industry team of Lockheed Martin with Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems performed as key partners. Demonstrator flew in 2000 with the first flight on 15th December 2006.
